a new mag is giving away Bryce 3d with its issue... http://www.3dworldmag.com/ its a great offer for Brycers..it will expand Bryce's exposure...but I have some reservations as to the validity of the mag in claiming to be "experts". for instance, the site for the mag has a "questions" area..and it discusses Bryce in one of those... there is a major oversight in this discussion and it's supposed to be by an "expert". I personally have never heard of this "expert". I don't claim to know everyone who knows Bryce, but this oversight is one that "the least kid on the place" knows..so an "expert" would definitely know it. I asked in the Bryce Forum and no one has answered the "fo-pah" at the mag site..surprised me btw, but many may think Im attacking the mag..not so...just saying that a mag that says "we are experts" does not constitute such. anyhow, I'm subscribing because I want a mag like this...I just hope they get their facts straight before they release any more "expert" tutorials on Bryce (or any program) BT

I have thier sister mag "Computer Arts" (special edition for 3d art) and a demo of Bryce 4. Seems the only difference between the demo and full copy is a couple import/export features and the absence of the second CD. Of course my Bryce 3d was a "demo", a full working copy, but not upgradable (I recieved it and Poser 3 as a retail sales rep). My question for those out there is what does anyone know about the limitations of the Bryce 4 demo and the full Bryce 4, I may be totally off base and if others are interested in the improved features (spray can, skylab etc.) trying it out first worth it? Just wondering. Boni

ARGH ... just found another limitation to the demo, guys ... each image once rendered has a Metacreations watermark all over it. Well ... back to the drawing board. Boni
