Tell me about it. Fireworks about drive me crazy trying to shoot them. I figure, if you get just one good one out of a roll you should be happy. :) Reminds me that I still have the 4th of July negatives of fireworks I need to scan in. Blah. You, my friend, are very daring to do it with slide film. I went with print film so it'd give me a little fudge factor (exposure latitude). Great capture on this one. My biggest problem was we had a good wind that night and the displays were blowing around a little. -=>Donald
Looks good.... yes they are hard... I think the last time I shot them I got one or two good shots on the roll and that was it.... I didn't find the exposure to be a problem though for me it was composition.... the weren't shooting them in the same place so I had to keep adjusting for it, made it hard to keep them in the frame.
I am, therefore I create.......

Well I finally got my slidefilm back today (scanned as well) an it held my pictures of the sandsculptures and of the fireworks I photographed. The fireworks were a real 1st for me and I think it really turned out really well. The attached link shows a multiple exposure at F22. This one is the best of the series though, the rest were less fulfilling. Fireworks photography is a tricky business. What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies. - Aristotle
