Ok... i dunno what someone is trying to pull... but i recently uploaded a model to the freestuff section "Megaman metools for poser!", and today i visit renderosity, and i have a message waiting for me from a user by the name of "Misty" she/he said that gator is included with the metools download... which it's NOT.... i HATE gator, and i'd NEVER include it within' anything.... basicly, what i want to know is, did anyone else receive a message from this Misty about this? i'm trying to figure out if this person is trying to stop people from downloading it, for whatever reason..... or if they only sent this message to me... if it is a mass message... i haven't the faintest idea why this person would be trying to screw up something i've released...

to date zing.. nothing I"ve downloaded from you had anything but the zip file 8 curious... Ooh.. megaman stuff???? cool I'll look for it thanks 8 )

Good chance she got 'gatored' somewhere else and she didn't notice it, or your host has been 'gatored' and they don't know about it.

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

I also downloaded your Metools. The site you host your downloads on, fortunecity, has gator as one of their advertisers. Misty probably accidentally clicked on the accept on the banner add that pops up after opening the site. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Gator advertises everywhere. It's a pain to remove it, but not nearly as bad as xupiter. ~DM

ahh, you've downloaded my stuff before wizzard? thanks =) and yeah, that is a possibility, like any free server, the download page will on occassion have a gator popup... which anyone with half a brain could easily just click off.... one thing i gotta know is, did you guys get the same message i did?

I got the Gator install popup when I downloaded it too...but I chose not to install it...

Well.. I run Opera and AdsOff/PopOff which negates the popups, so I never saw it... shrug aye Zing a few things here and there.. just dont ask me which ones 8 ) the "accidental" click might have been teh prob.. amazing how people like to blame others for their mistakes na? Cheers
