Subject: Question on Non-Symmetrical morphs

SWAMP ( ) posted Tue, 05 August 2003 at 4:24 PM ยท edited Thu, 13 February 2025 at 6:40 PM

Poser characters are very symmetrically constructed (the left side is a mirror image of the right). OK..fine,but real people don't have this kind of symmetry. I was wondering if anyone makes or knows of a character or morph pack for facial shapes, and expressions, that are not symmetrical? Ill post a picture to show what Im looking for.....

For this face,I made morphs to move the jaw to the side, turn the whole mouth, raise the left and right cheek separately, and sized the eyes separately. So does anyone make this stuff.or do I have to keep doing it myself? Thanks,SWAMP

Traveler (MorphWorld) used to have a very complete set of one-sided morphs. I don't know if he still does. Also, if you're Python-equipped, try my MT Carver script that lets you take only part (like only the left side) of an existing MT.

Doesn't P5 allow you to split morphs into left and right? Or did I misread that? -SMT

ockmam,I grabed your script, and took a fast shot at it....looks very interesting. With it and the grouping tool..I can more or less mask body parts that I want or don't want to be effected by the MT. Very nice! This should help alot. Thank You Very Much,SWAMP

Yes, smallspace, P5 does have that feature. Very useful, especially for morph-makers.
