THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Ahhhh yes, finally back from Ohio! :)

Hey all, just a quick message before I retire for the night. Just got back from Ohio this evening, it was a good trip, glad to see my family again and get a break away from this machine! But at the same time, it was good to get back to Wilmington to get back into the groove some, even though I got a ton of stuff that's gotta be done...oh well, such is life! :) Some good news though...I have a tutorial coming out in the December issue of Renderosity on building-making and texturing in Bryce so stay tuned! :) It's pretty exciting. I'm in my final editing stages of that right now, and it turned out pretty good I think. Also, I'm now part of the Magazine team to help them build the issues or whatever tasks that may need to be done. :) I thought this would be a really cool opportunity too and also something to help get my name out there. But I must say, none of this cool stuff would be possible if it wasn't for you all in here, continued tips and inspiration have driven me to (try to) get better...if it wasn't for this forum, I don't know what kind of stuff I would have in my gallery, but it probably wouldn't be any good. Thanks again everyone! :) Aside from that, glad to see all of you are well, and the challenge is coming to a close, may the best DTE expert win. :) Regards, Ian

PS...I'll have some pics of the mountains I took on the drive back to NC...they will be good for those who want to do a study on haze and distance in mountain ranges. I'll get those up when I get the chance, hopefully w/in the next day or two. :) MD

Definitely looking forward to that tut! And the idea about the mag team is very good. Shows creativity, initiative and provides a record to bbot. Well done!

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
