Subject: poser running slow

i have pro pack running on win xp -- it was running fine until today when it crawls doing anything....i'm new to pc so i'm not sure how to kick it back up...read something about a paging file?? any help would be great.

Hi there, I too run that on xp and sometimes my comp gets bogged down to. There are only two things I know of, one, make sure nothing else is running lol unless of course you are using a tut online or something. Two, close poser and reopen it after a few seconds. It's a pain though when you are working on something, so hopefully someone has a better plan for both of us!

Do a clear up of any temp files and files you don't need, then defrag your disk and see if that helps.

As for clearing out your paging file, there's probably a better way, but if you change the settings of your paging file, apply it then change the settings back and apply again- that should do it.
