Welcome back Dash. Glad to hear you have a new render coming up. I've been busy myself with a bunch of projects and other outside away-from-the-computer things so I know how you feel. I hope I can throw a render up soon. Looking forward to this new addition to your gallery though. :) MD

Hey guys.. Thanks for the message. Well, its been rendering now for 12 hours and its about 13% done.. And you guys propably know that I render using Bryce Lightning so my renders are ALWAYS fairly fast... Except this time, I've gone overboard with the volumetric lightning and everything.. So its gonna interesting to see when its all done! lol -dash101

I'm looking forward to it Dash. I hope you made sure the lighting was good before you started the full-size high-quality render? Volumetric lighting is tricky. You really don't want to render for 5 days to find out the whole lighting set needs to be tweaked, you know.

Lol. Yes infact I spent the last three days getting the lighting good enough for the high end render.. Its an interesting effect Im trying out: An open-shutter black and white photograph of smoke hovering over an old studio film camera. The effect can only properly be done with volumetric lighting so here we go.. lol! Looking forward to showing you guys. -dash101

Welcome back. I really hate to see all the great renders with volumetric lighting and premium rendering effects, because they crash my poor little computer. If only I could get my new motherboard to fire up my renders could improve dramatically.

Glad to see you back, Dash, and I can't wait to see your next one! :) S.
