Put a nice velvet texture on it Stefano and I may take a seat. It could almost be the kind of soft, comfy, sofa's, you find in chill out rooms in clubs. So many people have sat on them that they seem to be melting into the floor. Or on the other hand it may look innocent but in actual fact is a man eating chair, ready to eat the unwary sitter. Keep up the good work dear, you'll get there in the end. 8) Catlin
Beats my C4D gummy bear. I'm still stuck on the 2nd tutorial for the extension cord. Peggy

Aahhaa, another traitor i see... ;) Looks comfortable to me. Great start! I gave the Meissie(or whatever)-tut a try, (box modeling)but gave it up at the nose, when the bridge tool didnt work like in the tut... :( Still havent decided if im going to buy Cinema though. Going to give good old Lightwave another try first. :)

@Phantast LOL, you're right: it do look like a three-key toy piano, ehm... :) you can't even play "Frere Jacques" on a keyboard like that ;-) @ Alvin I can't leave Bryce :) and I won't. One can never truly be unfaithful to his first true love... @Rochr You tried the human head tut? Quite difficult to begin with... I haven't yet looked at it... @tresamie & slakker I'm reworking the model, lowering the seat-level and trying to make something more sofa-looking :)
Beanzvision that picture with the sphere looks good. Have seen some cool pictures with just geometric primives. Doublecrash sofa looks cool, should see some of the weird furniture they make in the design magazines. Gonna try the box modeling method with Truespace, making faces using metaballs is kinda difficult. Wait till you see my Apathetic labs chars. Here is one face I made with metaballs http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/a/w/aweaver/skullbatdisp.jpg.html
So far I've tried 2 ways of making a human head. One is by drawing curves and connecting them. It involves lot's of welding and lot's of tweaking at polygon level. The other method I tried was box modelling. with both methods making nose, mouth and ears is the most difficult. A human head is one of the most tricky objects to make. Making furniture is one of the best ways to get to grips with the modelling tools.
