Subject: windows media player error when viewing movies

Once a movie in Poser has finished rendering, WMP appears to play the file (usually AVI) but everytime it does this I get a message saying it cannot locate the file and/or it is missing. Seeing how the damn file has only just been created I don't see how this can be! I have to tell the player manually where to play the file and it plays it fine. It just doesn't do it automatically like it should. I'm using Windows Media Player v9.00, and Poser 4.0.3. I never used to have this problem with the old v6 series. Any help would be appreciated JoeBlack

Something similar started happening to me after I installed a different player as my default (Jukebox). I haven't bothered to try to fix it yet.

Sounds like an association problem maybe. Be sure .avi is associated to WMP.
