From what I've heard that's really catching on in this area. This area being the midwestern US. It's a nice idea, but I'd feel funny picking up some unattened book, sort of like a thief. jon

was listening to the Beeb last night (BBC), and they had a story on 'traveling books'. You get a book with an ID number, read it, leave it out in public. Next person finds it, and repeats the procedure. You 'check in' on the web site, to see where 'your' book has gone..some have crossed oceans, countries, etc., in just a few months. One person left a diary of blank pages, which each 'reader' filled in a day of their life...not sure if this is interesting or not, but I thought of you guys when I heard it.I wish I'd said that..
