im a little late, but when dc says the lighting must come from bryce skylab, does that mean no other lighting (radial, spotlight etc..)? just wondering... thanks

That is correct; however, I do believe he made the point that if your scene consists of light poles, lamps, headlights, flashlights, etc, that radial, spotlights, etc are allowed. I'm sure that someone will correct me if I'm wrong. brholte

dang thats gonna be hard.

brholte ( ) posted Fri, 15 August 2003 at 6:51 PM

shouldn't be too hard. I never use a light source in place of the natural sun. Only in indoor scenes will have I ever used them. They slow down the render too much :)

really? thats cool------usuallyi just use lights in my outdoor scenes to highlight the direction of the light.

Lol, I'm gonna put a LOT of kids holding flashlights in mine then. AS

i see no problem in just using the skylab. but then again the scene im creating is fairly bright. Had i made a night or duskscene it would be harder
