As an exampe of the art of the cobbler, time to revist slingbacks. All this, and only 1628 polygons each!

geep ( ) posted Sun, 17 August 2003 at 2:05 PM

Only ....... ONLY? ....... 1628 polygons Where is the decimal point in that number ... ... I can't afford that! I only have P62.50 left in my wallet. (thats 62 1/2 polys) ******************************* Beautiful job (as usual) Jim. ;=]

Ha! She does fit into them very nicely, I think, but good thing I gave har a "tight-shoes" morph! Going on sale soon, for only 999 polygons!

geep ( ) posted Sun, 17 August 2003 at 2:59 PM

Oh NOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo............

I spended all my poly$ on foot powder.

Nevermind, they wouldn't fit Dr Geep's foot anyhoo.
He wears a size 12 15/16ths.

Hi Jim, Are these going to be free or for sale? Kev.

pdxjims ( ) posted Sun, 17 August 2003 at 4:12 PM

Wow! Nice shoes! Now we need an Imilda Marcos or Kerry Bradshow morphs to start collecting them. And Geep, I know a number of men with feet your size who wear shoes like this all the time. Usually on Friday nights at Darcelles, ur local Bird Cage. I'm sure you'd be lovely in them, after you shaved your toes.

geep ( ) posted Sun, 17 August 2003 at 4:18 PM

You can shave ........................... TOES? Ididn'tknowthat.;=] <-------- dr geep's new space saving shrthnd

I think they are going to be part of my "Day in the Office Set". I'll have to do a super "Toe Cleavage" morph for them, though, as that is the only kind you can show in the office. ;-) IV doesn't shave her toes, she said. ;-) You know, when I was in the Army many years ago, I learned my size 10 wasn't all that big for a guy, I knew guys with these ENOROMOUS feet, like size 14! I think 15 was the cut off, though, any bigger than that and they couldn't draft you.

This is just great...I finally broke down and bought the Day Life shoe pkg. the other day while they were on sale and now you're coming out with a new pkg! Just my luck...guess that's what I get for procrastinating. LOL They look great btw. :-)

My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!

'any bigger than that and they couldn't draft you' Not true. They put you in the Navy..... as a troop transport ship. mac

Ha, Ha! That is really funny! It is going to be mostly a clothing package, but I always like to put in some shoes, too. I was going to put the Mary -Janes in it, but I decided to make that a free update for the Day-Life set, instead.

queri ( ) posted Sun, 17 August 2003 at 10:07 PM

If you was wondering about what to adapt for Ingenue V, please consider the ROmantic nights set-- there are some things in that which I could drag her into period or fantasy with-- that lovely long gown, for inst. Love her body-- did I suddenly out myself??? Emily nah, they understand.

Charlie_Tuna ( ) posted Sun, 17 August 2003 at 10:49 PM

Jim, 14's aren't that big, in Mich, we had a govener and later Judge, G. Mennen-Williams, generally known to everyone as "Soapy" had VERY BIG feet, size 15 quad E and one of the old Detroit Piston players had 'assualt ships' for feet, size 21!! :-)

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Mon, 18 August 2003 at 12:03 AM

I don't think that shaving toes would be very efficient. Just pull out the hairs one by one! (Considering how painful shoes like that are to wear, such quick hair-removal would be a lot less like torture.) Carolly

sabretalon ( ) posted Mon, 18 August 2003 at 3:06 AM

Waxing your toes would be better. As to not drafting after size 15+, why not, does it not make sense to draft above size 15 in the paratroopers. With feet that size they will always land on their feet. ;P

Jim, the reason I asked was that a product ad like this belongs in Product Showcase. Thanks, Kev.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Mon, 18 August 2003 at 7:52 AM

Toe wax? blink, blink I'm sure that someone could design a label for that product. It would be dual use: removing hairs and securing the feet against slippage, so the customers ought to be pleased with the value amd we can reach a wider market. Hmmm... pull out my old tins of ski wax (we WERE talking about size 15 feet)... and smile beatifically. Got it! We'll insert single applications in a blister pack! Marketing slogans abound: 'Get a leg up on the competiton with Toe Hold Toe Wax' and 'Even a plucky lass can use Toe Hold Toe Wax' and .... Carolly
