Subject: All who purchased iw43d Poser Collections... Waddaya think?

Pamola ( ) posted Sun, 17 August 2003 at 4:28 PM · edited Tue, 10 December 2024 at 9:26 AM

Just wanted to know because we are going to be changing the collections section very soon. We're trying different approach that may give people better options or perhaps making them smaller but more affordable. There will not be as many models in each collection, but filling custom collection orders THAT LARGE can become very tedious for a little girl (named me ;) So we're examining different options and will let you all know.

Guess what? I have the ability to change prices and move stuff around very easily on our site SINCE I NOW HAVE THE ABILITY TO MAKE CHANGES TO OUR SHOPPING CART! YEEEHAAAA! There is a GOD!

But please let me know how you found our Poser COllections (the new collections, not our model sets) and if you think they were worth the price. Also, if you think we should continue to even offer collections, or what? Suggestions, complaints, comments, EVEN WISH LIST ITEMS, are all welcome!

THANKS ONE AND ALL! (Spook, soon, very soon. ;)

Cheers!
Pam

Love the carousel, it's amazing! I snatched that up the minute I saw the post here! Nice work!

I saw that Judith! I FINALLY got control of our shopping cart (YAY!) and am now able to make pricing changes and move stuff around on our site without upsetting the shopping (or is it the apple) cart! ;)

Just FYI: We'll have those birds done sometime in the near future. They're getting close to the top of our "TO DO" list (2nd or 3rd at least) I know that! We've just had some other work in and it makes it tough to get our Poser models out when that is the case. I LOVED your textures, BTW. I'd love to talk to you again. Sometime soon? e-mail me at pam@iw43d.com, okay? Thanks! XO, Pam

As you know, I like the collections:) I had planned on getting the animal collection later on this year. As far as I'm concerned, they are a fantastic deal. Smaller collections for lower prices would be good too. I'm guessing that most people just don't have more than 20-30 dollars at a time to spend on these things...which makes the collections as well as the really high end items a bit too hard to handle. While I'm blabbing, I would vote that you lengthen your specials to give some of us time to save up for the goodies:) I, for one, allow myself x dollars to spend on poser stuff each month. If something comes up early on and get's most of it....I spend the rest of the month wishing, but having to pass it up. eric

Eric, Thanks for responding so quickly. How long do other vendors offer their specials (ie., Daz, or here in the Marketplace, or on 3D Commune, etc.?) We lowered all of our prices across the board by 50% because and thought we would offer these large collections for a SUPER DEAL. This way, if someone REALLY wanted to buy one model in particular, it would be in range for them to acquire it individually since the majority of our models are priced between $4- and $15-. Then, if they wanted to buy one of our Premiere models, this amount could be better justified if they got aA BUNCH of Premiere models and some other to boot. Our REALLY detailed models like the Condo and Office cost more becasue so many other models are included WITH these models (all furniture and props, etc.) FYI: Nautilus is one of our premiere mOdels that we plan to sell right here in the marketplace so I imagine the price will be coming down on that little gem come down very soon! Tx again for your reply. Cheers! Pam

Oops, I thought this was a weekend sale....a week is perfectly reasonable. I think my problem is that I now have another store to watch regarding my meager spending...too many great things.... Oh well, my 2cents is...keep the collections (at least til I have the money for your animals:) I've bought one and was very happy. I couldn't have afforded it without some unexpected cash, but....well, I've been quite pleased that I was able to get it! eric

Well....I haven't purchased any of your collections, but I certainly love your specials!! :) I have to agree with Judith....the Carousel was impossible to pass up! :)

The carousel WAS impossible to pass up and will probably wind up being my favorite, but I love the cheetah especially because NO ONE ELSE has one (and it looks great too)...LOL. Gotta dig out my Gazelles from Vista and get those and the cheetah into Vue for some heavy hunting! ;o). Laurie

just a suggestion, Pamola...you should put a link to your site on all of your message...are you allowed to do that here ???? Did you see your softtail in action??? I have a couple of your model groups in mund..such as the boats.....that's a great deal

I missed the Magellen special (still beating myself up). I tend not to like collections as there is usually only 1 or 2 out of say 6 models that I'd be interested in, generally cheaper purchase individually. Unless is it like the Magellen total package where you get all the parts, extra models, then that peaks my interest. Some of the prices seem out of scope with your other pricing. car for $15 but the scifi buggy is much much higher. I like your models and the quality, hope to see a lot more new things. There are only a few items in your current store that I am eyeing and they all have price tags that out of my league. my 2 cents.
