I'm workig the Bryce tutorial (p 73). The book states on several occasion that my picture should look like the picture on p.72. I get the mountain I don't have any snow on my mountains - I have a clear sunny day. I reinstalled Bryce and I get the same results. Will someone please help me? Kimberly Brugier krbtv@home.com

The texture you are using can be changed to give you what you want. with the mountain selected, press the "M" and it will give you lots of options. Keep in mind that some textures are controled by what is around it. Bryce will average the heighth(sp) of everything and adjust the texture as needed.
