Subject: Private Dance/motion question

Downloaded Private Dance file from Poser gallery here and had the same trouble I have with most BVH files -- I get error messages like "No figure element to match BVH node Face Camera" or similar messages, one after the other, which specify a bunch of body parts. I press "OK" and the computer just hangs. And I never know whether the arms are on the x-axis or the z-axis. In the future, it might be helpful if motion creators include this info in their readme files. Mike

I've not tried the Private Dancer BVH yet so I'm not too sure about what's causing your machine to hang. However, the arms are on the x-axis for the figure when it's in the default pose Paul

Do you have the character selected that you want to apply the BVH to, when you import the BVH?

If you have the figur's body selected, when applying the BHV, only the error: "No figure element to match BVH node Face Camera" remains, which you can simply ignore, it will work though.
