Went outside at work one day and saw one of the most amazing skies I have ever seen! Just happened to have a camera in the car and got this shot. I still can't believe that it came out as well as it did. The camera that I had was just a disposable 35 mm. The actual photo in front of me looks even better than the upload. (Don't have too much practice scanning and manipulating photos yet.) Check it out, I think you guys will like it. Mike

Only thing about uploading a red x is, you don't know whether it's your red x or the systems red x, ROFL!

Great shots miden and zahnn. Nature sure can create some fantastic stuff. Zahnn, flip your picture and it becomes something entirely different.

And around this place on a bad server day, its about a 50/50 each way bet, lol. * Flak stops hitting the "show picture" button* ....well for a moment there, I was thinking it may have been one of those "space invader" aliens from the 70s...

ROFL@Zhann & Flak! Hey Zhann, I think I saw that same UFO!

Rayraz ( ) posted Wed, 27 August 2003 at 6:22 AM

Both very nice sky's. Not many skies like that where I live, and everytime there's a nice sky there's all these buildings in front of it.

We don't have sky in UK - just some kind of big grey sheet over everything ;p

Rayraz ( ) posted Wed, 27 August 2003 at 7:48 AM

I like the landscape in the UK though.

Beautiful skies guys. Where abouts you live Hutch, in Scotland we can have some amazing skys, although you're right that most times it's a greyout. 8) Catlin

Surrey - rolling hills and forests (ok, patches of tress ;o)

catlin_mc ( ) posted Wed, 27 August 2003 at 1:47 PM

It's very flat down there. I have a friend who comes from Wallington and he'd never seen a mountain until he came to Scotland. 8)

I don't think I could deal with a grey sky all the time, the big sky was one of the reasons I moved to Colorado, besides the mtns, one thing I miss sorely though is the seashore, my childhood home was on the Cheasapeake Bay in Maryland....

On the drive into town the other day we had a beautiful sky over the bay that looked like a beach and sea on a planet that was way too close for comfort...........
