Hi, How can a door prop be made to open like a regular door, you know, pivot from one side in stead of rotating from the middle. Thanks

Select the door then go to Window/joint editor. With that open select center from the top drop down list. Position the green cross hairs where you want the hinges. You'll probably find it easier if you use one of the orthographical views.

Here's an image to back up what Phil said. You can see the green cross-hairs at the bottom of the door. These can be positioned in 3 ways. 1. By typing values into the Joint Editor. 2. By using the dials which appear in each body part. 3. By using the mouse (last resort). If the door is a prop or combination of props, press ctrl-i to get properties and check 'visible' on 'display origin'. This will show you the same cross-hairs. mac PS The red cross-hairs can be ignored. The only affect the End Point, not the rotation.

'2. By using the dials which appear in each body part' These are the X, Y and ZOffset dials. mac
