Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 15 11:01 am)
The Adam West fan in me would like to see one of the Batman characters dancing (the Batusi, of course... ;D)... On a more serious note, the Jitterbug was from the 40's or early 50s right? Fashion was a little different, but not a lot... I think the Casual Female (P3) with skirt and the business man with tux texture or P4 male with tuxedo and good hair (hard to find, I know... :D) would seem best suited for this. If you could find one of the period hats for the woman, this would be even better. But my memory of the Jitterbug could be WAAAAY off too...
Again, the fashion isn't gonna be a probem. I'm fudging the 30's style anyway. As I did in a previous installment, I would like to use other peoples characters without modification (xcept for clothes). Kate the Screw has appeared in my story as well as Island Girl (forgot who did that one). It's just my way of showing some of the creative stuff that is going on here in situ. You find me somebody's Adam West sans mask tights and cape and I would seriously look at it. I'm just looking for peoples suggestions on recent characters that have appeared in these (and other) places that could serve my purposes. Truth in advertising section: If I use other peoples cahracters as supporting cast members it frees me up to concentrate on the main characters. :-) jje
What about the Betty Page character for the girl - she has a sort of 30's/40's look to her and if you just slap her into a skirt and sweater(pun intended)she should do just fine. I don't remember if she's p3 or p4 tho, but she was in the freestuff section. Don't remember who made her. KateTheEverHelpful
Hey Kate! Thanks I'd forgotten about her. What's wrong with me? Although now I'm thinking with the new male/famale joint controled figures from Director in the Free Stuff, I might have an easier time modeling the three "swing" poses I have in mind. sigh every time I start a new installment I think "this will be an easy one" and then I proceed and add complexity till by the end the only ones who will talk to me are the cats. jje (Actually we just humor him. We find him tedious too! Jessie, Tuck & Willie jje's cats )

Here's the issue I have. In the next installment of HCK:FLA I plan on having two people jitterbuging. Posing and clothing will not be a big problem (famous last words) but here's my question to y'all: Which of the characters available thru the community, do you think would make the best dance couple? I'd like to stay away from anything that uses Vicky geometry for reasons of visual consistancy. Free is nice too but if the consensus sez "ya gotta get Mr.X & Ms.Y from the store" I'll go that way. So...I'd like to leave it up to you guys to decide. This next installment is something like a milestone for me (and for poor Kelly) so I thought I would do something a little diferent in the development process. What's yor'pinion? jje
