Hey there .. I was wondering if anyone knowsof a way to export a tiff, or any other format really, from one of posers bmp's. The reason being I want to take it inot bryce and the bmp that poser produces doesn't go into there. There was a pair of jeans that had that but no bump map so I couldn't use it. Same thing for a chainmail texture I am using. Thanks.

Ack .. meant BUM ... not BMP

I saw a utility to convert BUM to conventional format, try the Utilities section. PhilC

Actually a .BUM is a sort of .BMP file, rename the extension, you can load it into a paint program, it's interesting, looks like a greenish moldy/extruded version of the original, just like some of the stuff in my fridge! :)

I tried that in photoshop but it wohnm't open. There is a thing called quicktime viewer that will open it and I can see it but I can't copy it without a memory error and picture viewer won't allow saving. Can see the weird green thing but not sure what good it will be in that format. Thanks though

Thry this- Open it in your picture viewer to its FULL size, then hit your Print Screen button on your keyboard. Then in Photoshop, paste as a new image. Then you can cut the image from the screen cap you created when you hit the Print Screen button. Save it. Savior it. Enjoy it. But do NOT get it pregnant! :o)

paint shop pro will open .BUM files ... you can export them in boo-coo formats, but im not sure they will still be effective bump maps may need to convert them to grayscale and mess with contrast

Y'all have a great day.

Picture Publisher 8 will open them. They will not show up in "all supported formats" but will in "all files" .
