Subject: Looking for clothes for an Old West scene

I am trying for an exterior saloon scene, circa 1850s. I need clothes for V2, V3, or Steph, and something for Mike that a recent Chinese immigrant might wear. I am going for photorealistic and reasonably accurate. Cowboy clothes for Mike, cheap or free, would also be desirable, but not as high a priority for me. Help?

I just know of the cowboy clothes for Mike and they are at Daz.

Recent Chinese immigrant sounds like Royloo's stuff might fit. I think his store is at 3dCommune, although he also has nifty free stuff items such as a queue. I've picked up various pieces over the years of other things: shoes here, shirts there. I think there is a shirt called a "tang" here in free stuff. Saddles and appropriate tack can be found at 3 sites? ScottA and Bloodsong and somebody else did western saddles. (If you have a saloon, you have a hitching rail.) Serge Marck has done the best Victorian era clothing. If you didn't pick up the items from his old site, you'll need to lokk over the CD of collected works at GG's Junction (IIRC). There are a few other people who have tackled the items such as fans and hats, but not that many who have given us wardrobe choices.

You also might wanna try PoserStyle for the chinese immigrant clothes. There are some clothes there for V2 and M2 that just might fit the bill with some more drab textures. Laurie

Poserworld has the saloon, saloongirl clothes, suitable proper womens clothes and western mens clothes Poserstyle has clothing suitable for chinese immigrants, and more western clothes DAZ has Questors excellent period guns & gunbelts plus poses free SAMs 3D has plenty of horse related stuff and if I'm not mistaken, more Old West style buildings for exterior scenes RDNA has southwest cacti and such
