Although we didn't have a lot of gallery submissions this week, what we had was top notch! It was difficult just to cut it down to 3 listings in the Mod's Picks, let alone get the featured work of the week.DragonsOfRose had 2 poems fighting for the Feature of the Week (and wasn't the only writer with multiple works this week that I had to choose from), but I settled on "For the Better" because of it's subtlety and range in emotion. It has a touch of nostagia, a touch of melancholy, and a touch of hope - with a theme that people can easily relate to. Although I don't consider any accompanying graphics when I make my choice, I did admire how the picture fit the poem so well.
If you missed the poem, now's your chance to check it out.
