I use textures a lot that I create in photoshop. My attachment shows a problem I am having in C-3. As the example shows, there is less of a problem in C-2, though I don't understand why the pattern does not line up exactly since the source stripe texture is perfectly aligned. But look at the example of the same texture applied in C-3! it is really screwed up. Am I misunderstanding some simple thing in C-3? Thanks.

Hello VG, I had experienced something like that with an earlier build of the C3 Beta but have not seen it recently. This may be fixed for the final release now but might have still been an issue with the beta you received. (that's the fun of Betas!) The image above uses both Spline and Vertex objects. I couldn't reproduce it. I'd still contact Eovia and see what they say though. Sorry I couldn't be more useful... Mark

Have you checked mapping in VM? Is that a spline object or VM? Brian

My image is a straight spline. I want to be able to use bump textures on a spline without distortion, as I could on C-2 but cannot on the V-3 beta. My goal is to arrive at something like this attached sample of woven cable. Thanks, Vern
