Hi Coire, Not many use RD3D, there are a few here that still have it. Amorphium - Yes, That is used a lot...Well I've heard it is used a lot. ;) I hear its a cool package. I dont own it but have heard neat things about it. Feel free to post any questions that you might have on either of the products... Take care, Clint

I still have RD3D, though I recently got a cheap new copy of Ray Dream Studio 5.5. RayDream 3D is a remarkably powerful program; I worked with it for about a year. If you want to check out some things I did in RD3D, go to the art galleries and search by artist for my work. The only RD studio pic I've posted is the landscape. The rest were RD3D. I have asked a bunch of questions in this forum, and even though very few people were using RD3D, my questions were answered clearly and intelligently. If you have the extra money, it's probably worth getting RD Studio or even Carrara, but if you don't, stick with RD 3D. You can do a lot with it. - Chip
Yep - This forum will not look down on anyone for asking questions. Most of us have been there before and enjoy helping artists new to the 3D world. The forum is here for ya to use...go for and dont be shy. :) Regards, Clint PS - I learn something new every day...God I love it!

This is going to sound VERY stupid I'm sure. But, as a new artist on this site, and really to the 3d rendering art, in general(I've been trying this for 2 years with some bad results), I feel I must ask. Does anyone use Ray Dreams 3D, or Amorphium anymore? These, unfortunately, are my current software programs. I do have Bryce 4 on order, Thank God. I hope to get going on some better stuff when I get that program. Thanks for your time, and for reading through my nonsense. Coire
