RDNA had some orc weapons which were more natural or caveman like. Also Bloodsong had an antlered cape headdress thing. Gnarled staves (RDNA) plus antlers plus Aes Shanims bonestrap clothing saved as a prop makes nice antler-spears. Bloodsong's Dragon Factory (if you have it) has great teeth props to steal, or you can prop save out the Mildragon or Panthers teeth to good effect. Over at 3DCommune Cooler has some Native American type stuff which also can be modified. I needed something similar for a project I've not yet completed :)

I've been searching for organic weapons. Things that people would make in a metal-poor world. I've used nice, organic textures on some weapons I have but get a weapon that still looks too...fancy, not enough organicness to it (if organicness is even close to being a word). If anyone's familiar with the RPG campaign DarkSun, that's the kind of weapons I'm looking for. Stuff with jaw bones and big monster claws stuck to it, chipped obsidian daggers. No metal :) Question 2, I posted in OT forum but I'm really digging for an answer... Some years ago, I read a fantasy novel about a young man that is stabbed by a "tainted blade" and gets involved with a group of people with "talents". One of the men (named Scythe, maybe?) in the group had black eyes but 360 degree vision, another was a woman (named Archer I think?) that could control her arrows with her mind. And there was a horse named Hob, short for Hobgoblin, Hobnail, Hobbyhorse, whichever the owner was feeling about it at the time. If any one knows the name and author of this book, I'd be greatly happy. I thought it was "The Tainted Blade" but a search through Google and Amazon has resulted in nothing. TIA, Lhiannan
