Subject: Only one question over Vue Pro, very important

I have only one question, very important before that I go buy Vue Pro. Or for better say it, I have some questions on only one subject, it's to say: Poser. Can Vue Pro load Poser 4 characters, like Vue d'Esprit 4? If he can not, will the company produce an update for Vue Pro for this? Can Vue Pro load Poser 5 characters, like Vue d'Esprit 4,2? If he can not, will the company produce un update of Vue Pro for load Poser 5 characters? I am sorry if this is already well known, I have read some things but this is not yet clear to me. Yannick

Yes, Vue Pro can load Poser 4 AND Poser 5 figures (there is a special technic to apply, very easy). With our tests, we even could import dynamic hair from Poser 5, but we had to apply the transparency map for this special hair manually. Pro (and also vue 4.2) doesn't recognize it. Guitta

What about the cloth? Can the cloth be imported to vue pro. I just need it for still pics and not for animation. Esther

Yannick, it's just renaming your Poser directories in the case you want to use both Poser versions.

Guitta, how I do rename precisely the directories, please? I'm sorry, it's perhabs a silly question, but I am not so expert. Yannick

This is ONLY for Vue 4 professional. Maybe this has already been fixed in a different way. So, please wait and ask me again then if ever you cannot import Poser 5 figures:-) thanks Guitta
