There's a tutorial by LuLuLee at DAZ Arcana which shows you how to adapt clothes for Victoria 1 or 2 to fit Victoria 3, using The Tailor (also available at DAZ). This uses a mannikin figure by Lord Nakagawa, which can be downloaded from a link on the tutorial page. [Here's the tutorial.](http://arcana.daz3d.com/tutorial.php?id=46)

Lord Nakagawa has also made a reverse mannikin to adapt Vicki 3's clothes to Vicki 2, however DAZ have yet to release it. In the meantime, here's how to make your own. I'm not giving you any geometry here, so there's no copyright problem.

You'll need nothing more than the things you needed for the original tutorial, and Poser itself.

These are the basic steps:-

  1. In Poser, load MannikinV3b into a new window with nothing else in it.
  2. Check that the mannikin's NewV3 dial is set to 1.000. Choose File > Export > Wavefront OBJ... to export to:
    Poser4RuntimeGeometriesLordNakagawaVick3BodyV3.obj;
in the string of dialog boxes that follow, select the default offerings except in the last one (after the file selection). There, check the first and last boxes, uncheck the rest, as in the picture.
  3. Download and unzip this CR2 file to your Poser directory.
  4. Delete the MannikinV3b, and load V3-V2 mannequin instead.
  5. Select the hip (which is really the whole body), and add a morph target: Object > Load morph target.
  6. Select Poser4RuntimeGeometriesLordNakagawaVick3BodyV2.obj as the file, and name the morph V2 or something like that.
  7. Set the new morph to 1.000.
  8. Make it into a full body morph: Figure > Create full body morph.
  9. Save the mannequin back into the library.
  10. Now you can follow the original tutorial, but use the V3-V2 mannequin instead.

There are bound to be questions, and I'll try to answer them; but it's late here, so I probably won't get back to this thread for a while. Be patient. :)

What about setting V2 joint parameters?

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

You can get a center setting pose from The Netherworks - there are full conformers available somewhere, I'll post a link as soon as I find them. :)

English Bob, Thank you SO Much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This works great, it still will need some tweaking especially on the arms but now the clothing fits very well with the exception of the V3 cat suit. Thank you again for your great and EASY to follow tutorial!! Beth
