Subject: MAX --> Poser: UV question

Is there ANY way to do my mapping in MAX, then get that mapping into Poser intact? Or do I need to rely on a 3rd party mapping product?

Are you exporting .3ds? That would explain it. .3ds only supports "one UV per Vertex". Idiotic as far as I'm concerned as it makes proper mapping techniques useless. Try exporting as Wavefront .obj format instead. You'll need to resetup the textures, but you'll get proper UVs intact.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

Color me stupid. Turns out I did not have the "export texture coords" checked on the Habware plg-in. I'm all happy now... Thanks.

Cool! Glad that you solved it.
