Short Version... Corel stopped working on Bryce.. Corel was taken over by another company. Bryce production in the future is uncertain. (but it will always live on our pc's) There's a petition to the new company to keep Bryce alive... Go sign it if you want to keep hope for a Bryce 6.. grins Long version... too long to go into again...lol Search the forums here for posts on future of bryce, etc, and please go sign the petition... The link it at the top of every page of the forum in bright red letters, as well as slammer text at the top of each bryce gallery page, as well as many other 3d program sites. Jen
I don't know what the current painter situation is, but the Bryce program was stopped months (maybe even a year) before Corel was bought by another company and back then they where still working on Painter as far as I know.

I noticed a large price drop in Bryce 5 lately and the abscense of a Bryce 5 upgrade. Does this mean that Corel is soon to roll out Bryce 6? Or are they simply trying to appeal to a different market? I've also noticed a new box design. I have Vue and purchased it because of it's Poser compatibility, but I've always wanted Bryce as well. I had once read that Corel was abandoning Bryce, but I don't know what that means. Any insights?
