After seeing a few of the other "what I've been doing" posts, thought I'd add my recent endeavours/tortures to the collection.... Its a poser horse under all that armour I've made (and in case you're looking - no there isn't actually anyone in the knight armour yet).

Ooh, and don't worry about the stirrup - it needs a bit of relocating.

That is some really impressive modeling Flak!

Excellent modelling Flak. Is this for the town image you teased us with a while back?, I hope it is and that it won't be too long until we see the finished work. 8) Catlin

Awesome model, and I don't think the knight's armor needs a body in it. Wouldn't be able to see him anyways.

This looks great. Ghost Knight to the rescue!

Flak, LOL I could use something like that! Does it come in green? Nice modeling - what program did you use to do the armor? - TJ

Thanks guys and girls. Yeah, catlin, the armour is for that long ago city pic that has stopped and started quite a few times so far. Ang - yeah, very little of the body would show through at all from the front on angles, and getting rid of the body keeps poly's down nicely. Bryster - and I just found another chink - his ankle (or lack of) ;) 7o11 - Ghost Knight? Modelled in a very old version of LW - its so old it doesn't even have UV mapping (so mapping for the bump map on the barding is done in uvmapper. Have been playing with the LW 7.5 discovery edition recently (the newtek version of a demo), and there's so much more stuff in it than there used to be.... think its too big for my brain to cope with.
