That is.... just.... wonderful...! The texturing is perfect. Been after something just like that for a while... now... where did I put my Lara figure..?

I have been thinking about starting modeling, so I am asking everyone what programs they use. What program did you use to create the shrine? thanks!

Beautiful, simply beautiful... Thank you.

Evanara ( ) posted Sun, 28 September 2003 at 9:28 AM

Jehllm: I use 3DS MAX to do the modelling. Not the easiest package but it can do everything (and more) than anyone would want to do. I'm still learning (the shrine is a test model and is not perfect, but I think it's good enought to distribute it). Thanks all for your kind comments .

Evanara, that's extraordinary work. I love architectural models, but have never seen anything quite like your Indian Shrine. It's very beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing.

Oh, that's lovely, and very useful. I'm always kinda amazed at what people say are test models-- looks prime to me. Emily

Queri: By test model , I mean that I created this while testing and learning new techniques in 3DS MAX. Since I went all the way to a finished model in Poser and that it looked good (but not good enought to add it to my store, there are a couple of items I'm not fully happy with), added to the fact it had been a while since I released something to freestuff, I decided to package it and send it to all the nice folks around here :) .

DarkElegance: It's been uploaded to Freestuff and still has to be approved. However, for those who can't wait, here is the link to the file on my Renderosity homepage.
Enjoy.
