Has anyone tried to get to Traveler's MorphWorld30.com today? I was finally going to break down and join his Props Club, but everytime I try to get to the site, I get redirected to VeriSign saying the domain can't be found>

I just tried, and got the same thing. A whois search shows that the mane is registered until Sept. 04. Maybe the server is down.

A few weeks ago, the same thing happened to a site I help with. As much as a pain that Network Solutions can be, at least they send lots of notice that your registration is expiring.

I had the same problem, sturkwurk.com wasnt due to expire until November, but then suddenly, poof, it was gone. Had to jump through hoops to prove it wasnt due yet, and get my site out of limbo. Doug

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

I do business through dotster.com and godaddy.com and both of them give me plenty of notice, have auto-renewal plans and in general don't treat me like garbage.

Letting a domain expire can be dangerous. There are registrars who let the domain go pretty quickly and it's bought by the unscrupulous (pornmongers and cheapie "search engines" mostly). I've got all my significant domains on auto renew at godaddy.com. I've always been happy with their service, and their rates are excellent. :-) bonni aka She Who Owns Far Too Many Domains

According to me and the place it was parked-- mine had another year on it-- but it was stolen anyway. It's cuthroat out there. Emily
