Bonjour!I have tried to import many files in .obj format with textures on(uv mapping)in the new Vue4Pro and Vue4:the Pro version cannot import the map associated with the .obj mesh while the regular version(Vue4)can import the same file without problem (see attached pict with one of my test).I did several test with different files :same results.Vue4 can but not the VuePro.I have also tried to import some meshes in .3ds format with maps. All the .3ds test files was imported with the maps in Vue4;some of the 3ds files can be imported with maps in Vue Pro ,but some others 3ds files cannot be import in Vue Pro and i just got a message like Vue 4 Pro.eon has encounter a problem and needs to be closed.....Poser files was imported ok with all textures in both version.I have Vue 4 pro and Vue 4 (last version) installed in different folders without opengl enable (AMD XP 1800,DDR one meg,Ati Radeon 8500,Wndows XP home edition).Someone else has tested the importing features of Vue Pro?What are the result$ Thanks

In Vue 4 poser chracters, until rendered, appear as a vague collection of dots or shadow pieces which is hard to work with. Is there any way to get a better image in the working window or is it better in Pro? OpenGL mode also makes no difference in what you see prior to rendering.

The attached picture shows the weird display I get when characers (there are two of them to the right of the pyramid that show here as dots) are loaded from a pz3 file; just some vague dots. To the left is a pyramid for comparison. The image renders perfectly.

I've imported .obj files from Poser and they come in with normal look in the working area, however there are problems with some textures in such obj imports just as there are in cinema 4d--the eyes have extra mesh that cause them to be white (must be deleted) and there are texture problems with eyelashes and eyebrows. No such limits with direct poser pz3 loading but the preview in working area is a mess.
