Okay this is starting to bother me, I have a scene .. the lighting is quite dark, but the hair I am using is VERY bright :-) in fact, if I turn all the lights off and render, the hair is self-illuminating :-) My question I guess, is what actually does this? I have played with Specular Value and Diffuse value to no real avail .. and its driving me nuts :-) ANY help greatly appreciated :-) (ps. Its Real Hair for SLH in Poser5)

It's probably the ambient lighting, turn that one down.
