I have bought tons of DAZ and REN models in the past, but M3 has yet to impress me! I expected a major new character, but I haven't quite seen it yet to make me spring for M3. I haven't seen any renders so far either except lots of Fairies (heh) But- 1. Mint just released a face pack for M3- especially like the Planet of the Apes monkey face! NOW we are GETTING somplace! I don't want little Fairies, I want MAJOR CHARACTERS- NEW REASONS to buy M3 over the great M2. (BTW, DAZ- How about an M2 Face Morph for M3? If I could make M3 LOOK like M2- I would find that a good reason, too)

As I recall they extended the M2 and V3 sales too, the M2 one for ages (until Stephanie was ready?) so I doubt it's for poor response.

You know, all the ones begging for the Sales to be extended? There was at least one thread about that somewhere around here. Or maybe they just felt like being nice. They almost always extend the sales on major characters like M2 & V2.

Where I can I find the planet of the apes face?

I have a sort of pseudo M2 face made up for M3 but it will be a couple of weeks before it is out at least.

"Looks Like Planet of the Apes" is actually a free morph offered by Mint for M3 in Free Stuff. It's a monkey-like face shown behind the main character in the preview pic. It's not the actual MOVIE version, but someone with a little bit of texture-tinkering could make it look like it.

I think your M2 Face morph will be popular! To me DAZ has offered M3 as a "lightweight" character. I'm not against that kind of character- I just think that to SPEND MONEY on a whole new M3 it had better have lots of COOL and GREAT character features, not just Fairies and Hollywood Pretty-Boys. I bought the extra "Ugly Ogre" type morphs for V3, but never used them. M3 would seem to be the best NEW creation to turn into a Wide-Range of DIFFERENT characters- that's what I was expecting from DAZ. So far they have "blown it" in my opinion. I'm not getting out my credit card for M3 until I can see REAL CHARACTERS! Maybe the free-lance Poser model-makers can come up with these items if DAZ doesn't.

Thanks Veritas, It is just sort of approximating it and eyeballing it but it looks a little bit like him. Probably won't make people go "Mike 2 or Mike 3"but it is a different head shape that migh help some people.
