First, let me start off by saying that I have had very little in the way of formal art training and since I am beginning to feel that pain, I will likely be going back to school soon. (sigh - there goes what little free time I have!) Okay, currently DAZ is running a contest and it's for that Wall Calendar. The Calendar will bein 12 X 12 inch format and they said to submit the file as a *tif, cropped as desired to 12.5 X 12.5 inches, which allows for bleed trim. 350 DPI or larger L2W compression is okay. Now, I understand the DPI and the Tif, but what I don't understand is how large to create my image. I've never worked in anything over 1024 X 768. So, do I render the image 1250 X 1250 pixels? Is that 12.5 inches? Do I render lager? I hope this is okay to ask this here, but I figured I would get a quicker answer here.
