Most image tanks can accept the Memory Sticks. They are expensive though no matter what memory media you choose. Personally I have the DSC-F707 and I love it. I do wish I had waited for the 717 so that I could take atvantage of the 1 gig card though. Outside of that I LOVE my camera. You can see some of my work in my gallery here as well as on my site, www.zhounder.com Personally though, now I am trying to save enough money to get a DSLR. I like what I see in the D100 from Nikon and seeing my 35mm system is Nikon I can use my existing lenses. Anyone got a spare $1700(US)? I will take it in the new 20's that came out this week. I am not too picky. ;-) Magick Michael
Unless you're willing to invest a good chunk of change in the accessories you will need, stay away from DSLRs. Beyond that, I can't really add to this, since I only ever researched DSLRs and not the "all-in-one" digital cameras. Mike - Trust me, with your skill and already having Nikon, you are going to freaking love the D100. The D100 and Eos D60/10D are very similar (the similarities outnumber the differences). I had the pleasure of using the D100 for 4 days this year before getting my 10D and I loved it. And if you didn't notice, they dropped the price of the D100 (trying to compete with Canon) down to $1499. :) -=>Donald www.dmholman.com

Hello all
Im currently in the process of deciding what new digital camera I should purchase and was wondering if I could get some input from the community.
I intend to use it for my own hobby photography and for base images to create textures for 3d texturing.
Currently I am leaning towards the Sony Cybershot DSCF717 but would appreciate any input advice for the best option.
As the cybershot uses memory sticks is there a similar thing to the 'Image Tank' mentioned in another thread which images can be stored on in the feild to save having to have large numbers of sticks?
Any advice that will assist me in making the best purchaes would be most appreciated.
Cheers Kurg
