Subject: Exporting Poser 5 to Bryce 5

I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into the same problem I have when trying to export Poser 5 Figures to Bryce 5 (Mac)? I Export it as a WaveFront OBJ, then try to import it in Bryce but for some reason it cannot locate Certain Texture files that Poser Uses. Here is an Example of one of the errors; "DonBodyTexLo.jpg Note: this fike has either been moved or deleted. Please locate it in the next Dialog." After closing the error Box Bryce unexpectingly Quits. I've opened the Poser folder and have found all the files that its looking for. I have no idea why Bryce cannot find those files??! Can anyone help me out here.? Thanks Adam Stewart

You need (MeTaL Fixer) This tool extracts the pathnames for textures in Poser .pz3 files and puts that pathname into the .mtl file that is created when an obj file is exported from Poser. It also replaces the #IND in obj files that give a I/O Bad Media error when imported into Bryce. http://www.fignations.com/jelisa/mtl/mtl_fixer.html It works well with poserpro I don't have poser 5 but it should work..

you can also move the texture maps into the same folder or directory as the obj you're trying to import
