Well thanks everyone for the help. It is indeed that the texture is inside the model. I model everything in nendo and then convert to carrara so I am paying the price now. I think what I am going to have to do is make seperate windows in nendo and just throw them in the IK chain. I have about 2 weeks tops to get this commercial done, and in realty b/c of other deadlines I will only have 1 week to do this commercial...I just dont have time to do it right :) Thanks for the suggestions everyone..they really do help. I always (try)learn from my mistakes so heres what I have learned so far. Model your damn models in Carrara. I saw on the list that Antone said the same thing (conversions suck) so I guess I could stand to listen to the programs creator. I have also learned something else...if by christmas an owner isnt found for Carrara I am going to get a different modeler. It is so frustrating working on a program that may disappear (or maybe has?) at any moment. Carrara is awesome..I tried many programs out before settling on Carrara. I love how the interface works...The problem is 3d is big money. I suck at 3d..I have been doing it less than 4 months and even I have managed to grab a few bucks off it here and there. But 3d art is young, and if Carrara isnt going to be able to grow with other programs I will not be able to stick with it. I have built a few models that people have wanted to buy, but I cant export them as animations...no 3rd party programs like the .car format :(...it would be nice if Carrara would at least support Direct X with animation capability. Anyway, this is just a pointless rant that solves nothing (except maybe to make me feel better). I have lots to learn and I appreciate all the help and feedback I have gotten here. Hopefully soon we will hear about a new home for Carrara or hopefully someone else will make a similiar program. I hate the interface of Hash or Truespace, but they are starting to look good :( (somedays anyway)
