The city terrain and texture is totally convincing. I was sure that it was an aerial photo before reading the description. Totally floored me that it was a painted terrain and texture. AMAZING!! The only thing I would suggest would be to setup lighting such that the ship is casting shadows onto the ground and clouds. I think this would greatly enhance the feeling of altitude. Great job. Have fun.

This is just to show how I made the city. I've been working on this a long time.. but it worth the result. Not so bad isn't it?

Amazing work, pidgy!

The creative possibilies offered by terrain editor seem limitless!! Maybe we should start a terrain editor thread posting any innovative techniques that people are willing to share!

Outstanding. i did something like this. TO make my city map faster I created my terrain from a high frequency DTE noise, then blended a few of them together in photoshop, and back again into a bryce terrain. You can take a look at it if you want. It's "forgotten city" in my gallery.

this is absolutely very impressive! Not only your creativity, - but the endless patience you've had working with Photoshop. I'm in the Photoshop - generating terrain face of my learning curve now, - and it sure isn't done in a hurry! lol
