Myself, I use a Mac with Netscape, and sometimes when that happens it means that your browser might not know how to handle that particular file. When that happens, I go to my browser preferences and under applications tell the browser what application needs to handle that file. Not to sure if this will help, just a shot in the dark.
OK, I solved my problem with the initial launching of the movie.....I went to Macromedia and got a cut down version of the HTML which worked.......the first movie launches but subsequent movies produce a "Director movie player error"... I think it may be the lingo, i tried play movie, gotoNetMovie, neither worked; I even included the URL in the movie spec just like in the code examples........if anyone knows the answer to this please email me at krel@infi.net.. Hi, I'm trying to get a Shockwave movie working. I created a web page with a link to my movie and I get the puzzle piece icon as though it can't find the Shockwave plugin. I installed the plugin from Macromedia's site. Still doesn't work. The movies play fine from within a browser from my local machine. I am also running Director 6 on the same machine. Why won't the Shockwave plugin work? Any help is appreciated.... Krel
