Well, when I stopped, I had enough time to walk across the road - line up the shot - snap it - and vamoose before the dog could close the gap. I was only armed with my camera, and I couldn't lift the tomohawk. ;)
One day when I see a car home, I'll stop & ask.

Looks like a frog. There's one like that about 30 miles from me, for years it was painted like a frog. Then someone painted it like an eagles head. Rock-Art.

The rock has 2 white painted stones for eyes making it look like a giant frog. The locals are split into 2 factions, those who want the frog and those who regularly remove the 'eyes' and want it to stay that way.......
