Subject: Creating Leaf Textures

I recently downloaded a great freebie package with images of leaves that can be applied to Bryce trees. I was wondering if someone knew how to create your own leaf textures for Bryce trees. I know I just need to get the correct leaf shape to apply the image too but I'm not sure how to get it.

As it happens I just finished a GREAT tutorial that covered that... http://www.robinwood.com/Catalog/Technical/BryceTuts/BryceTutSet.html Its in Beginners Lesson 3 Whats the link to the freebie package?

Yes, I have. All you need to do is in the tree lab under the foliage section, under shape, scroll to use "user leaf" then apply your leaf bitmaps in the material lab for the leaf you want and adjust. I'm curious, what freebie package is that and where can we get it?

Thanks for your help! I'll check out that tutorial! I've attached a link to the free leaf textures. They look pretty realistic :-)
