Dear Poser and Carrara community, I would very much appreciate help with the following: I am trying to make some adjustments to the size/shape of the P4Womans bottom (posteria, bum, fanny, arse - whatever you call it in your part of the world). However, this part of her anatomy is formed by separate parts namely, the hip and the legs. My problem is that I can't import two obj. files into Carrara to work on them at the same time. If I export two parts from Poser as a single obj file then Carrara reads it as a single object (which is OK by me but...). When I make alterations to this and export it, then Poser won't recognise it as a morph target (of course!). I have tried working on the separate parts (ie hip and thigh) but I can never get the verticies along the edges to match up again. I have tried working on a single part in the Model window of Carrara whilst keeping the whole figure in the Assembly window and zipping back and forwards between them but I still am not making progress. The Carrara manual talks about being able to align verticies of two objects in the model window, but I can't get the hip and leg in the Model window at the same time. If you know how to solve this problem or if you know of an different approach to modelling multi part figures, then I would be most grateful if you could drop me a line. Many thanks, Hylas Hylasii@hotmail.com
