Subject: How Can I "edit in" Custom Morphs with Injection Bulder

I made a Character for Vicky 3 with Daz & Custom Morphs.. I wanted to make an Injection and Remember Pose for her.. I have Injection Builder and When I ran this I see that you can manually edit the Text. I now you can use the Blank Channels to add Custom Morphs.. So my question is How.. Can I read the Script for the Custom Morphs in Morph Manager, and then fill in the Scripts in one of the Blank Channels in Injection Builder.. And Since the Blank Channels already have names, Do I rename the ones I use.. Thanks in advance for any help

I believe you can name your spawned morphs PBMCC_01 (or any number to _50) and then you would go in the text editor and rename the Blank Channel. The blank dials are PBMCC and so forth. This is a tip that I got when I asked almost the same question. Maybe someone can be a little more helpful or in depth. This is something that I'm intrested in too.

To the best of my knowledge, IPB isn't intended to work with custom morphs. It is meant to work with the DAZ morph packs available for Vicki (or M3). Dark_Whisper released a program that would handle both custom and DAZ morphs here in the marketplace, but DAZ recently purchased all of DW's store content. I have no idea if DAZ will make Dark_Whisper's software available at some time in the future. The program was called Injection Magic.

I know Injection Builder will not inject the Morphs automaticaly.. But when you run it the Script loads and it says the Text is "Editable" and the blank channels are there.. But I just need to know if you Re-name the Channels.. Copy in the Script.. from your custom morphs or what.. It seems you would have to name them something.. So when the dials show up on the Character you would know what dial to turn to create what morph...

The problem is the injection files themselves. In other words, if IPB will let you make a pose that includes one of Vicki's public channels, you would still have to make the injection files that contained the morphs -- inj, rem, hide, unhide -- the files called by the readScript commands in the INJ ane REM poses. Injection Magic would make these files for you automatically by reading a standard cr2 that contained your imported custom morphs.

Of course, if you already know how to make the injection files, then it shouldn't be a problem. If you're going to name one of the public channels, just make sure you only give an internal channel name. Don't change the name that comes after "targetGeom," change the name that comes after "name." That controls the name of the dial.
