Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 6:22 pm)
Personally I'm not offended or bothered by it, can't believe it's maya either by the way! lol That's a great job. If you find that you get trouble for it, and the other you mentioned, maybe you'd be safer posting in Renderotica those pictures. But like I said it doesn't bother me and I don't think it breaks the tos but who knows?!
The very IDEA that any kind of nudity could POSSIBLY offend me - now that offends me! LOL I was born NAKED!!!! Ooooooooooo disgusting, isn't it. I think that's a lovely image. Very nice. Maya Doll, eh? Well well..... remarkable. Vicki tends to look lumpy from this angle. I'll have to check out Maya Doll from behind :o) This must be doen in P5 with ray Trace shadows - is it? Not only a nicely done image, also sexy as hell. Show us more, do. I don't know much about the TOS - no idea if your image breaks any 'rules'. Seems highly unlikely though. :] Fish
Did she hurt her back? its kinda fuzzy or something between her legs...did you use antialiasing? otherwise , this is really a great image.....

It's not against TOS, nor in any way offensive. It's not Maya Doll, its a photograph. It's not pierrecolat it's Bebop. The purpose is thread is either to stir up some obscure controversy or just to insult the intelligence of Poser users in general. Either way it's just tiresome, and best ignored. Bill
Hi all I have no idea why this thread has been placed here. It was started in the Poser forum and someone moved it here I guess they got mixed up with Studio Maya and the app. "williamsheil" Thankyou for your responses; I think. I'm glad you don think It's not against TOS, nor in any way offensive. However you are incorrect in your assertion that it is a photograph. It is indeed the Mayadoll rendered in Poser with a lot of postwork in Photoshop. I don't no whether you have Poser and the Yuma texture but if you look close you will see that it that texture. "It's not pierrecolat it's Bebop" If you mean the stockings yes they are by Bebop and were available as a freebie at Mecom 4d. The purpose of this thread was purely to get peoples opinions of my work nothing more sinister than that.
I'm sick and tired of poser. The nudity does not offend me at all, nor do I think it should be banned. However, keep this talentless crap out of the maya gallery. So what that it was rendered here or there; build it in maya youself, render it in Bryce for all I care, At Least You Did It! Ohh, how nice that maya has import options. : [ BTW I cant tell if its textured or not.
I saw that mentioned elsewhere, actually. People being banned for 7 days for posting images that break the TOS. Seems extreme. This images doesn't bother me. :)

Okay, let's try to clear this up. We don't ban people the first time they post a gallery entry that breaks the rules. As far as I know that has never happened. At least not in the last 2 years which is as far back as I checked. The first time someone posts a TOS-breaking image, the image is removed and they get warned not to do it again. The second time they do it they get another warning and a ban of some sort (see below.) If they do it again, it's a permanent ban. To quote from the TOS: Members/Users found practicing these behaviors receive; Deletion of the post/s. First event - warning by email and/or IM. Second event ? Forum Suspension for 1 or 7 days or Temporary Community ban for 3 or 7 days. Third event ? Membership revoked, and access to the community permanently blocked. This includes any duplicate accounts for the same person. Renderosity considers this information private and confidential. However, there may be certain situations that necessitate otherwise. Since this seems to be one of those situations that necessitate otherwise and to quell further speculative arguments: On 08/16/2003 pierrecolat had an image removed and was sent a warning. On 09/05/2003 pierrecolat had 4 images removed, recieved a 7 day ban and was sent a second warning. I'm not giving the reasons why, they remain private between pierrecolat and Renderosity. Kev.
I had been posting art pieces that contained totally nude male and female images. Then awhile back I posted one that got pulled. I couldn't see the difference between that post and previous ones (I work hard trying not to break TOS). That's when I found out that a pic may be bounced because of the "position" of the figure. My understanding (at this time )is that a pic,in which a character or the character, is in a pose which provides a "straight on" crotch shot (no matter how innocent or natural)will be pulled. I'm not talking porn or open female labia, insertion or touching etc. The figure is just naked in the scene. For What It's Worth, This is Always Confusing pierrecolat. Can't Take Nudity,Just Put Up the Anti-Nudity Flag :-) Much Easier Folks. Strixowl
One thing should be clear and that is yes I was warned for an image that I posted and then some time later 4 images were deleted all at once not in any way connected to the 1st image. 2 of these 4 images were posted before the 1st one that was deleted. Also, I did wonder why I received the full 7 day ban rather than 1 day or 3 days or whatever. Because kbennett states "I'm not giving the reasons why, they remain private between pierrecolat and Renderosity." I presume that means that I can not give you the reasons either. But in my opinion none of the images were in breach of the TOS that was in force at that time. The trouble is now that because I have had the 2 warnings, which I presume last forever, the next time I will be permanently banned. That is why I am trying to get opinions on whether my latest image offends the TOS because to be honest the application of the TOS seems to be so random I really don't know.
