Subject: Challenge : can you crash VuePro faster than me ?

Polax ( ) posted Sat, 25 October 2003 at 8:36 AM · edited Wed, 13 November 2024 at 12:42 AM

I can do it in no more than 5 seconds ! no cheating allowed don't check OpenGL.
Now seriously, I'm debating a soft issue with the techs on E-on's and the questions they ask me are insinuating the bug is unknown, therefore, before I write to them smthg I would regret, I'd very much like to know if it happens to you also...

  1. open VuePro
  2. new
  3. load any atm.
  4. atm editor
  5. sun
  6. right click sun color
  7. save color map ::: CANCEL
Bing! Vuepro kicks me out with no warning!
(note: if I try editing the color map, Vue crashes on closing of the modal color selector but XP warns me that it'll close the app...)
Maybe I'm alone in the world to have this issue... maybe my computer is vodooed.. Help!

Well! Thanks every body for trying... it came sure therefore the problem was on my machine... after some hard thinking, I did what was obvious , I uninstalled and reinstalled the soft now it works fine... what happened I'll never know... (didn't think of it first because the drive was new, XP installed clean new, and Vue pro first soft installed...) Thanks again for bothering.
