Well, I do have some toon render materials in the Free Stuff section - that will help with skin coloring, and ernyoka1 has some toon mats for hair and clothing. If you want to make your characters look anime, you'll need to either download some of the free anime characters or invest in a commercial one. (Or learn how to do a lot of morphing to get the manga look on figures you currently have.) Besides that, you'll probably want to do some postwork in Photoshop (PSP, etc.). Hope this helps.

well.. p5 i dunno but there are many toonshader tutorials out there, and you could also look the communauty around mayax's animedoll kit for informations. afaic, i have a method for p4 that requries no postwork (oki, layers compositing, only)

look up the names SnowSultan & stewer as they've both had more than a little to do with the recent interest in Manga/Anime style renders with the z-toon technique. Riddokun I'd be interested in reading more about your method too :)
