Can anyone tell me where I might find a free army man figure. Kinda like those little green plastic army figure toys. Well that sort of era and style anyway. Any help much appreciated! Thanks, Mike.

Thought it might help people if I left a title LoL. Doh!!

you can make your own in Poser, after you pose them, export the whole figure with props as an obj.

Quick example, not army men, but you get the idea. In Poser5 you can get a better plastic material.

Thanks Niles. This is pretty much what I want to do, but I need some stuff like army helmet, overalls and boots etc, Just though there might be a ready made army guy out there somewhere. I found a german shaped helmet in freestuff but not quite the shape I wanted. Looking for a US shaped helmet. I'll keep looking, and thanks. Mike.

PhilC has a full set of arrmy BDUs for Mike, Vicki and the P4 basic characters for $15 (yes, I know it isn't free, but it is darned reasonable when you count out all the garments). I'm throwing the picture up to see if this is close to "the look" you are after. There was a WW2 site (noxgeo or something like that) which had free characters, but they vanished. Cacheforge might have an individual character for you (I haven't browsed over there in more than a year, though). I think Greylight might have had some free accessories. Carolly

Thank you Niles for the link. I had that once upon a time but misplaced it somehow...you can find nearly anything military wise through these links and then of course most of these sites have other links. I guess one might say, "The Internet has 'linked' the world together"!
