This is from the Poser 4.03 readme.txt 'Saving sets into various the Libraries when your screen resolution is set below 32bit/millions of colors will create a square background behind the saved library set's preview.' So, if your screen resolution is set to 32 million or more, you should get transparent backgrounds with your library thumbnails. BUT.... mine is set to 32 million, and I get solid thumbs - which is just the way I like it. I HATE transparent thumbs. mac PS The DAZ freebie this week is a belt. Go to the link abovekowe, Your screen resolution should give transparent thumbs, (at least, according to Curious Labs), but obviously it doesn't, and mine doesn't either. I've asked this question before and everyone seems to get different results. It's one of Poser's mysteries. Here's a new one I discovered. I have all my Library folders renamed and keep none of the original Poser ones. I did a system re-install recently, and also re-installed Poser (4.03). I now find, for the first time EVER, that after I convert a PHI file, Poser automatically creates a 'People' folder. It's never, ever done this before, and it's really annoying. I use a lot of PHIs and I have to keep deleting the People folder every time, since the whole point of me renaming the folders was NOT to have it automatically open at People. Go figure. mac
