Subject: DAZ Mihai hair locks up Poser 5 firefly everytime.

Anybody able to render the Daz Mihai hair in Poser 5 Firefly. I try to render it no other models loaded but the default guy and the hair and it locks Poser 5 everytime???!!!

Apparently this is an incompatability issue with some hair, particularly those by Neftis - there's nothing wrong with the (fantastic) hair, Firefly just can't seem to cope with it. You'll probably have to be content with the P4 renderer when using these hairs. There are several other posts about the issue lurking round here somewhere so you may like to do a search for a more comprehensive answer.. ali x

there is a way to fix it so you can render it with firefly, over at poser pros someone posted a solution using UVMapper, apologies cause I don't remember who or which thread but it's there ;) Hopefully someone will be along in a minute with the link.

There is a thead about it at PoserPros (link above). You can solve this using UV Mapper, but you need the Pro version to do it... However, there is a solution using only Poser as well, it's described in the thread.
